Peter Wüthrich lives and works in Interlaken, Switzerland. His works focus on the medium of the book. In Wüthrich’s works, books are, in fact, characterized much more by their ambiguity, within which their legibility and their traditional function has been consistently denied without questioning their status as books.
His work is part of important collections including:
Fondation pour l’art contemporain Salomon, Annecy; Collection Croix Rouge, Monaco; Kunsthalle & Kunstverein Bremerhaven; Karlsruhe Skulpturenmuseum Glaskasten, Marl; Kunstsammlung des Deutschen Bundestages, Berlin; MART, Museo d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto; CGAC Centro Galego de Arte Contemporanea, Santiago de Compostela; Warwick Arts Centre, Coventry; UMCA University Museum of Contemporary Art, Amherst; Magazzino Italian Art, Cold Spring/New York; Kunstsammlung Helvetia Versicherungen, Basel; Kunstsammlung Hoffmann- La Roche, Basel; Kunstsammlung des Kantons Bern.
